Hebei Dongding Chemical Trade Co., Ltd, in short for “OPCT”, was founded at 2010, but its combined by many specialist which have more than 30 years experience, this is a special company that has two fields of the product, one is related FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) GRP products and another is Potassium Sulfate plant, the two fields have some common point, because Potassium Sulfate plant has divide into two lines, one is for produce the Potassium Sulfate, and the other line is for produce Hydrocholoric acid, and in this line, more products are FRP/GRP products. But here we mainly talk about the Potassium sulfate.

The process for production the potassium sulfate is by Mannheim furnace,raw materials are sulfuric acid and potassium chloride, during the reaction in the Mannheim furnace, then can be transform into potassium sulfate. About the Mannheim furnace, this is made by bricks, there including common high-aluminum bricks, anti-temperature bricks, anti-corrosion bricks, and red bricks outside of the furnace.

Inside of the Mannheim furnace there have a big one parts which is very important for the products, that’s called casting parts, the material is including chrome, at the becoming time for build the plant(The first plant is built at the year of 1990), the parts only can be use 1 year, because of the materials corrosion, after 1 year need to be repair the furnace, to check if there need to change the parts in order to smooth production in the next year. But during the test and application, our engineers raise to change the content of the chrome in the parts to extend the lifetime of the parts, to let them have more property to anti-corrosion, finally let the time for repair the furnace much more than 1 year, and this way greatly improve the product capacity, and add more profit for the plant.

Otherwise consider the smell in the plant,our engineer design to change the gas flue of the furnace, including the flue direction and sealing property. For this way, to reduce more smell during the plant, and very good for the workers.

OPCT company had put into more profits and vigor, in order to let the plant create its best capacity and value, and to let customer get more profits in this field and let the final user to get best fertilizer to meet their request.

During these years effort in this field, we have cooperation with many more countries customer to build more Potassium sulfate plant, like Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Brazil, India and more other countries. The capacity of the plant from 10,000 tons to 100,000 tons too more. In the future, we hope to help more and more customers to build the best plant, to get more profits in this fields.
